Institut Le Rosey (Switzerland). Royalty in the graduation photograph.Founded in 1880, this mixed boarding school is the oldest private school in Switzerland. Considered the School of monarchs owing to the large number of members of European royal families who study or have studied there, one of its rules is that no more than 10% of the alumni should come from a same country. It has two campus. One of them in the ski resort of Gstaad, where the school moves to in the winter months. The most expensive school in the world: 56.000 €/year.
Surval Mont-Fleuri (Switzerland). Future businesswomen.This select boarding school only takes in 75 female students. The education programmes are aimed at preparing students for entry into universities specialising in business studies. An academic year costs more than 36,000 €.
Eton College (UK). Princes and government leaders."Founded in 1440, this boys school has educated and educates much of the British aristocracy, including the princes of England and 19 prime ministers. To enter, students must gain the ""approval"" of highly distinguished families. One academic year at Eaton costs 25,000 €."
